2023 Black Bench Chardonnay

The vintage year of 2023 was exceptionally cool (in many respects) in the Central Coast of California, and as a result, (at least climatically speaking), produced wines of great natural acidity and delightful freshness. We’ve taken the added step of rigorous barrel stirring fortnightly with the aim of encouraging a creamier texture and greater length. Flavors of vanillin  and apple predominate in this well-balanced delicious wine, best enjoyed with food. To preserve its truest and most complete expression, this wine has not been filtered.
